ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS
WHAT IS THE COMMUNITY MADE UP OF?
Animals don't live in isolation, they live in communities not even one organism can survive living by their own. A community is well known as a group that is conformed by a population which is a group of organisms of the same species living in the same area at the same time, this species interact with each other.
The interaction of this species in communities is an important part of ecology research. A community is basically made of populations living together interacting with each other.
HOW DO SPECIES INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER AND THEIR ENVIRONMENT?
We can start saying that interaction is the way how animals make relationships with each others, ecology is the study of this interactions between the species. Interactions can be complex and varied, sometimes this interactions are benefit to one and harm to others. There are different ways of interaction like: Competition, Predation, Symbiosis, Mutualism, Commensalism and Parasitism. Biological interactions can involve individuals of the same species (intra specific interactions) or individuals of different species (interspecific interactions).
HOW CAN WE BUILD A SUSTAINABLE ECOSYSTEM?
In order to make an ecosystem we will need firstly living organisms, also soil, plants, fungi..
Also an ecosystem needs special conditions in which live can survive, such as a balance temperature, water, space and light.
Consumers and decomposers play a big role in the maintenance of an ecosystem.
